Bronny James is starting to turn heads in the G-League but that is not the reason why the Los Angeles Lakers should call him back up. For Lebron James’ former teammate, the 55th overall pick of 2024 should have a chance to play in the big league because the team is not fighting for anything anyway.

Dywane Wade, King James’ teammate with the Miami Heat and briefly on the Cleveland Cavaliers, said that Lakers should bring Bronny back since they are not title contenders at this point.
“Honestly, bring Bronny up,” Wade said on his podcast The Why.
“We want to see that. I think Paul Pierce said it recently, I want to see Bron and Bronny, like a lob. I’d tune into the Lakers to see that this season.”
The comments were made at the 1`8:00 mark of the video below.
What did Pierce say about Bronny and Lebron? He said people should see more of the father-and-son tandem in the NBA.
“This season was about Bron playing with Bronny, and we wanted all to see that,” Pierce said during an episode of “Ticket & The Truth” podcast with Kevin Garnett eight days ago.

“We want to see a little more of that. … Enjoy the greatness of LeBron while you can. If you can trade AD and get some pieces for the future, maybe you do that.”
Bronny James reportedly called up for Pistons game
Wade wanted Bronny back in NBA and he got his wish as the young man has received an NBA assignment after two games with the South Bay Lakers over the weekend.
CBS reported:
James will rejoin the Lakers ahead of their matchup against the Pistons on Monday. The rookie has received very little playing time at the NBA level to begin his career, though he has averaged 13.4 points, 3.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 27.0 minutes per contest in seven G League outings.

Bronny James has played just seven games so far for the main team, playing mostly garbage time.
