The Philadelphia 76ers have some of the most passionate fans in the entire NBA. Their ruthlessness toward opposing players has been well documented. However, their lack of success in the post-season has led to turmoil within the fan base year after year.
Joel Embiid has turned into an absolute star for the 76ers during his time there. Here is a look at his career stats:
“He Took A Shot At His Own City” 76ers Joel Embiid Under Heavy Scrutiny (Report)

Our very own Reign Amurao initially covered the story:
After he gave a health update, Kyle Neubeck of PHLY Sports asked him about the story that was being told about him and how he handled his injuries.
“When I see people saying, he doesn’t want to play, I’ve done way too much for this city putting myself at risk for people to be saying that. I do think it’s b*******. Like that dude, he’s not here, Marcus, I’ve done way too much for this f****** city to be treated like this,” the star center addressed the talk around him.

Last season, injuries prevented him from playing at least 40 games. The seven-time All-Star only appeared in 39 games and was injured during their 2024 postseason run. However, Embiid was healthy during the summer and played for Team USA, where he won an Olympic gold medal.

And what exactly has he done? 💀
