Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson expressed her amusement at Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo dropping in on a social media live stream recently.

In an Instagram live by Indiana Fever point guard Sydney Colson, A’Ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo were the subject of teasing when the Heat star dropped by the live stream and joined the online fun.

Colson and her guests, Kate Martin and Theresa Plaisance, joked about Adebayo’s presence, with Martin greeting him enthusiastically and the chat buzzing with mentions of Wilson. The playful banter led to Wilson joining the session briefly, where she responded to the lighthearted chaos with a simple comment.

    “lol,” Wilson wrote.

A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo’s relationship has been a topic of interest since rumors began during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where both represented Team USA Basketball. While initially private about their romance, Wilson subtly confirmed their relationship in early 2025, sharing sweet details about their bond. She revealed that Adebayo has been a supportive presence, even wearing her signature Nike sneakers during an NBA game to promote her brand.

The couple has been spotted together at various events, including a dinner in Beverly Hills and Adebayo’s key-to-the-city ceremony in Miami-Dade County, where Wilson was in attendance. Their connection is built on years of friendship, and Wilson has expressed gratitude for Adebayo’s encouragement and care, describing him as a “good person all around.”

A’ja Wilson Does Not regret Not Joining Unrivaled

In an interview with USA Today, A’ja  Wilson reiterated her motivation for not joining Unrivaled, which was to prioritize rest during the WNBA offseason.

“Always much-needed,” Wilson said. “I love the time that I can spend on the court, but also off the court as well. Whether that’s just being a daughter or sister and everything in between. It was much-needed rest and I’m excited to get back to work.”

The Unrivaled League, a 3-on-3 women’s basketball league founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, achieved remarkable success in its inaugural season.

With an average salary of $200,000 for its 36 players, Unrivaled provided financial opportunities that surpassed those of the WNBA, attracting top talent and delivering competitive games. The league also secured a major broadcast deal with TNT and garnered significant viewership, averaging 221,000 viewers during the regular season and playoffs, with the championship game drawing 364,0002.

During the 2024 WNBA season, A’Ja Wilson averaged 26.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 2.6 blocks per game. She maintained a 51.8% field goal percentage and an 84.4% free throw percentage.
