A’ja Wilson’s brother, Renaldo Wilson, had some things to say about the way that clubs and party venues treat DJs. The older brother of the Las Vegas Aces star is an accomplished DJ in the city of Las Vegas and has also played basketball for overseas teams. Renaldo Wilson took to Instagram to air his concerns that party DJs like himself need to be taken care of really well when they show up to host a party.
Renaldo Wilson had a number of conditions that he wanted to be fulfilled in his events, such as discounts on food and drinks and also a bar tab. Wilson even went on to threaten potential clients that he would simply turn off his music if he was not taken care of properly. While he did not exactly mention anyone’s name in particular, Wilson stated that the people whom he was talking about would know exactly who they are.
“Ok so tell me if I’m tripping or not… As a DJ or host, why is it that everyone else at the party gets treated better than we do… We gotta call for a waitress or hookah girl, pay full price for drinks and food, damn can we at least get a bar tab?1?1 And get blamed for an altercation. No disrespect be we should be waited on hand & foot, be if i was to turn this music off right now it would be an issue. And no this is no pun to any specific venue just generally speaking but y’all know who y’all are lol,” Renaldo Wilson posted on Instagram.
