The 2025 NCAA Women’s Final Four will be held at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
The Elite Eight matchup between UCLA and LSU was a thrilling contest, with UCLA securing a 72-65 victory to advance to their first-ever NCAA Final Four. The Bruins overcame a slow start, trailing LSU 13-9 after the first quarter, but dominated the second quarter with a 22-12 run to take a six-point lead at halftime.

UCLA’s ability to connect on three-pointers (41.7% accuracy) and their defensive adjustments were pivotal in the win. Despite LSU’s Flau’Jae Johnson scoring an impressive 28 points, UCLA maintained their composure in the fourth quarter, with Jaquez sinking a decisive three-pointer late in the game to seal the victory.
This victory marked a historic moment for UCLA, as they advanced to the Final Four for the first time in program history. For Angel Reese’s former team, however, this marked the end of their dreams for a second championship win.
