Angel Reese has undeniably achieved a great deal of success in her young career. From winning an NCAA championship in 2023 to breaking numerous WNBA records in her rookie season, the Chicago Sky rookie has been the definition of “sensational.” She has understood what it takes to be great, and she recently saw a different kind of greatness on Tuesday.
In her first WNBA offseason, Angel Reese made a trip to New York to attend the celebrity-packed Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday. There her attention would be caught by supermodel Bella Hadid, who graced the ramp and stunned guests with her red lingerie set coupled with a puffy jacket and angel wings.
The 22-year-old couldn’t hide her awe after seeing Hadid, who has a net worth of approximately $25 million, walk on the runway. She took to Instagram, posting a collection of images on her IG stories summarizing her memorable night in Brooklyn. The photos include one with Hadid doing her thing.
“I was able to witness greatness,” her caption read.
She also posted on X, singing praises about the city after her experience that night. “I think I love New York,” she said.
Reese herself was dressed for the occasion, wearing a red dress by Jamaican clothing brand Diotima. She was seen mingling with Cardi B and Queen Latifah, among other notable celebrities.
Angel Reese flaunts her magazine cover collection
Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has rapidly grown in popularity. She already had a large contingent of fans from her days at LSU, and it only grew even more since joining the Sky. Her popularity has blown up so much that she has also been on the covers of several big-name magazines.
Last month, the 22-year-old posted on Instagram, flaunting her impressive collection of magazines that had her on the cover, which include Sports Illustrated, Adweek, Slam, and Women’s Health.
“The only issue I have, call me Ms. Covergirl,” her caption said.
Reese’s record-breaking plays on the court and her tough demeanor off it have had her make headlines. Her star status is undeniable In the Chicago area, where she has a growing WNBA fanbase.
The Maryland native unfortunately ended her season too early due to a left wrist injury she suffered last month. She is currently recovering from surgery and is looking forward to healing up in time for Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier’s Unrivaled league in January 2025.
