Chicago Sky star Angel Reese recently received a marriage proposal from a fan and, after “consulting,” turned down the offer because someone “said no.”
The interaction happened in one TikTok video where a fan posted a comment, who obviously like Reese so much that he wants her for his wife.
“Angel my future wife btw,” the fan commented.
In what may be the most unexpected turn of events for the fan, Reese herself noticed the comment and played along with the fan for a while.
Angel said: “Really?? You [gonn] have [to] ask someone about that.”
“Forget that I already have wedding arrangements,” the fans responded.
“Let me ask real quick,” Angel said.
“Yeaaa!”
“He said no,” she said, crushing the fan’s dreams.
“Dang,” the fan replied. “My dreams are crushed.”
As of 2025, Angel Reese has remained single and not in a confirmed relationship. She has been previously linked to NBA stars like Jalen Duren, Kevin Durant, and Cam’Ron Fletcher, but none of these relationships have been confirmed or are ongoing. In the past, Reese has expressed interest in dating an NBA player who understands the demands of her career.

In previous interviews, he has expressed that she prefers a man who is not too focused on his appearance, saying, “I like a man who is not too cute. You can’t be too cute for me.” Reese also mentioned that she doesn’t like men who take longer than her to get ready or who are overly concerned with their skincare routine.
Angel Reese Clarifies Statement Amidst “Sit Out Games” Backlash
Following a bold statement she made in one of the recent episodes of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, Angel Reese went on to social media to clarify her words as she faced backlash over her threatening to “sit out games” if the WNBA does not hear the players’ call for a better salary.

“I love how y’all have selective hearing,” Reese said in her post. “I said ‘I’m hearing if they don’t give us what we want, we sitting out’ and that’s the truth. I never said anything about the NBA. We are prepared to stay at the negotiating table for as long as it takes.”
