Angel Reese recently posted a sweaty workout pic showing off her incredible abs. The Chicago Sky superstar seems to be quite busy in the latter parts of the WNBA offseason, preparing for the upcoming season.
Reese could be seen working out with weights in blue shorts with a white t-shirt. Reese also flaunted her natural hair and seemed to be working toward building more muscle and stamina in preparation for the 2025 WNBA season.
“you see the abs okayyyy,” Angel Reese captioned her Instagram post.
Angel Reese stepped foot into the WNBA after being selected by the Chicago Sky as the seventh overall pick in the very first round of the 2024 draft. Before the WNBA, Reese played college basketball for the LSU Tigers from 2022 to 2024, and prior to that played for the Maryland Terrapins from 2020 to 2022.
Reese has not been quite during the WNBA offseason and has made best use of it, it looks like. Reese played in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled League, a 3-on-3 tournament co-founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. Reese was part of the Rose basketball club, which eventually managed to lift the trophy in the end.

Angel Reese has been a strong pillar for the Chicago Sky ever since she joined, averaging 13.6 points in each game, grabbing 13.1 rebounds and assisting 1.9 times in every matchup played. Reese’s rookie season was affected by an injury, but the young stalwart still managed to etch a permanent impression of herself in the team’s history.

‘Angel Reese Effect’ Says Jason Whitlock About Dipping NCAA Ratings
Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have always been pitted against each other, whether the two like it or not. Their rivalry has become so hardcore that some are considering the two players to be complete opposites of each other, like night and day. One instance of this was seen on Monday when sports writer Jason Whitlock tweeted about the ‘The Angel Reese Effect’ as opposed to ‘The Caitlin Clark Effect’.
“The Angel Reese Effect. Women’s college hoops not the same without her,” Jason Whitlock tweeted as a reaction to the reports that the NCAA ratings are currently dipping.
‘The Caitlin Clark Effect’ is a term coined by basketball fans and analysts in response to the WNBA ratings going through the roof after she stepped foot into the league. Her rival, Angel Reese, is being sarcastically touted to have an effect too, for the decline in NCAA ratings.
