Angel Reese showed how proud she was of her brother, Maryland Terrapins forward Julian “Juju” Reese, as he made another double-double along with teammate Derik Queen.
During their most recent game with the Villanova Wildcats, Juju made 18 points for the Terrapins and 10 rebounds. Freshman Derik Queen also made an impressive double-double, scoring 22 points overall and making 11 rebounds.
Supportive sister Angel Reese shafted the post celebrating the two double-doubles by her brother and Queen, writing in with a story caption: “My boyzzz.”
Playing six games this season for the Terrapins so far, Juju has an average of 13.2 points per game, 9.3 rebounds, and one assist.
Aside from the impressive play by Juju and Queen, Terrapins coach Kevin Willard credited the team’s strong defense strategy that prevented the Wildcats from establishing a sound offense, which ultimately gave his team the 76-75 victory.
The Maryland Terrapins will next play the Bucknell Bison on Thursday, November 28.
Angel Reese: “An Inspiration” to Brother Julian
Angel Reese and brother Julian “Juju” Reese share not only the same name but also a strong bond over basketball. The two have never been shy to show love and affection for each other, and have often credited each other as an inspiration to push further with their basketball career.
Back in October, Juju Reese shared in an interview how her sister Angel Reese and the impact she made in women’s basketball continued to inspire him to consistently better.

“Me seeing the things she’s doing out here and the people’s lives she’s changing, and the inspiration she’s doing, it just inspires me to be better,” Juju said. “Breaking so many records as a rookie, I feel like her future’s really bright.”
Talking about what he learned from his sister about basketball, the Maryland star player said: “Just to stay focused and stay passionate and never lose the love for the game. I feel like we instilled that to each other at a young age and we’re just building on that.”
Juju also added that while he and Angel Reese both shoot with their left hands, his sister is actually right-handed and just switched “because she wanted to shoot like me.”
Angel debunked her brother’s claim in the most playful way via an X post: “my baby brotherrr,” her post said. “Not you lying saying I switched hands cause I wanted to be like you stoppp itttt.”
