Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark is the WNBA rivalry we all never knew we needed. These two have propelled the sport of women’s basketball to a whole new level and so far, they’ve done it as competitors.
With the WNBA All-Star Game coming up, however, fans will be treated to seeing these two superstars team up for the first time. This has the basketball world all giddy, and apparently, the prospect has had a similar effect on Reese, too.
Angel Reese Excited to Play Alongside Caitlin Clark
Speaking to ESPN’s Malika Andrews in a recent interview, Reese expressed how much she’s looking forward to linking up with Clark in the ASG. The Sky power forward also dropped a major announcement about wanting to carry on with this team up to represent the United States national squad in the 2028 Olympics:
“It’s gonna be really cool. I know so many fans are gonna come out to watch both of us,” Reese said. “… We are gonna be playing together for a while… Hopefully, in 2028 we’ll be Olympians together, too.”

All eyes will definitely be on Phoenix next Saturday when Reese and Clark headline this year’s iteration of the WNBA All-Star Game.
As Reese said, however, she’s also already looking ahead. The 22-year-old revealed that she plans to head to Paris to watch the Olympics, which starts later this month. Four years from now, though, she hopes to be on the squad with Clark battling for that gold medal.
