Chicago Sky Star Angel Reese opened up about her hectic schedule lately, as she explored her passion for fashion and glamour while staying on her feet as a standout athlete. Recently, she admitted to having slept fewer hours and to only “run on vibes.”
In a recent courtside interview during the Chicago Sky’s preseason game with the Minnesota Lynx, Angel Reese was asked how she was able to juggle going to the 2025 Met Gala and immediately play the following day.
“I don’t know how I’m doing this,” she said during the interview. “I’m running on vibes. I think I can operate on four hours’ sleep, so I was good there.”
“I’ve been going since playing at LSU, I had my birthday party Saturday, I left on Sunday for the Met Gala, had that yesterday, and got back at two o’clock this morning. Trying to maximize everything. I know tomorrow… I’m looking forward to my off day so nobody call!”

Angel Reese, Chicago Sky Wins Preseason Game Vs Lynx
The Chicago Sky secured a 74-69 victory over the Minnesota Lynx in their preseason matchup at Wintrust Arena, with Angel Reese playing a key role in the win.
Reese, who had just attended the 2025 Met Gala the night before, managed to balance her demanding schedule and deliver a solid performance on the court. She finished the game with eight points and nine rebounds, showcasing her ability to contribute despite the fatigue from her whirlwind 48 hours.

Reese’s presence was felt throughout the game, particularly in the second half, where she executed a smooth spin move before finishing with a layup. The Lynx struggled with their three-point shooting, making just four of 25 attempts, which allowed the Sky to capitalize on their defensive stops. Despite a late push from Minnesota, Chicago held firm in the final minutes to close out the win.

As she heads to the tip-off of the regular season, Angel Reese will be joined by Sky’s new acquisitions as well as rookies, including former LSU teammate Hailey Van Lith.
