Chicago Sky star Angel Reese just got a hefty bonus for her Unrivaled team, Rose BC, winning the season championship recently, and she got a quirky offer on spending the amount “by tomorrow.”
Angel Reese not only became an unrivaled champion when her team, Rose BC, beat the Vinyl BC in the championship game—but she also got $50,000 wealthier because of it.
Each team member of Rose BC received $50,000 in bonus money for winning the inaugural Unrivaled championship.
Over at X, Indiana Fever point guard Sydney Colson jokingly offered help to Reese on spending her Unrivaled bonus.
Colson said in her post: “Hey angel girl, just wanted to check in and see how ur doing and just let [you] know I’m here for u if u need anything…esp if u need to get rid of 50k by tomorrow or anything like that.”

Reese obliged and responded to Colson, citing that she is still only on her rookie salary, but promised that she would make it up to her friend once she gets better pa in a few years.
Reese posted: “Hey sista. I’m doing well. just won 50k on a flight. I know you are VERY aware & I’m sorry to break it to you but I’m on a rookie contract & that 50k was a little more than half of my contract so I have to keep that to myself…. sorry 🙁 give me a few years and I gotchu. Be well.”

Angel Reese Praise Downplayed by Critic
In one of the recent episodes of his program “Fearless,” critic and analyst Jason Whitlock downplayed the praise that Angel Reese got from one sports outlet, following her success in Unrivaled.
“ESPN has painted this narrative that Angel Reese is one of the greatest up-and-coming athletes of our lifetime,” Whitlock said. “They act like this Unrivaled league championship cemented her legacy. She even took to X and posted ‘What y’all gon say now?’”
“Baby girl, finish your layups first.”
