Angel Reese may not have been there during the Rose BC’s win for the first-ever championship title for Unrivaled, but she thinks she would have gone viral for something had she been present during the final game of the league.
In one of her most recent posts over at X, Angel Reese answered one fan who pointed out how she was the only one missing from the celebration of her Unrivaled team, Rose BC, when they finally won the league’s inaugural championship title.
She posted: “Mannn something would have went viral 😭 God knew lmaooo”

Angel Reese missed the Unrivaled Finals due to a hand injury she sustained during the final regular-season game. This injury prevented her from participating in both the semifinals and the championship game.
While she was not physically present at the finals, Reese stayed engaged by live-tweeting updates and cheering for her team, Rose BC, from a flight.
Despite her absence, Rose BC went on to win the championship, and her teammates included her in their celebration via a FaceTime call from the locker room.

Reese is now focusing on her recovery to prepare for the upcoming WNBA season with the Chicago Sky.
Angel Reese Criticized For Missing Unrivaled Final Game
While Angel Reese herself was hyped up about the idea of her being there for the Unrivaled finals with Rose BC, analyst and critic Jason Whitlock called her out for not being there with her team, particularly in that special and critical moment of the season.
“This championship game was so unimportant that she said ‘Nah, I’m good, I’ll watch from home, I’ll watch this stream from home and I’ll Facetime in if we win,'” Whitlock said in one episode of his program “Fearless.”
“Or maybe she went to one of LeBron James’ younger son’s high school state championship game. Maybe she was joining LeBron in celebrating that. All of that is more important than being at the location, being with her teammates.”
Whitlock also downplayed praise given to Reese, particularly by ESPN.
“ESPN has painted this narrative that Angel Reese is one of the greatest up-and-coming athletes of our lifetime,” Whitlock said. “They act like this Unrivaled league championship cemented her legacy. She even took to X and posted ‘What y’all gon say now?’”
“Baby girl, finish your layups first.”

Angel Reese’s performance in Unrivaled was remarkable, especially in rebounds, where she averaged 12.1 per game. She also averaged 13.1 points per game.
