Being a WNBA star like Angel Reese means staying ready both on and off the court. Whether it’s getting buckets or getting glammed up, the Chicago Sky forward knows how to handle both worlds with style.
In her latest Instagram post on Tuesday, the self-proclaimed Bayou Barbie shared a close-up selfie and gave fans a glimpse into her beauty routine, revealing it’s time for a skin refresh.
“I need a facial. It’s been sooo long,” she captioned.
Off the court, Reese is a rising fashion icon. Just weeks ago, she posted a mirror selfie wearing her Sky jersey with the caption: “Year 2,” a nod to her excitement about returning for her sophomore WNBA season.
Angel Reese also kept active during the offseason, playing in the Unrivaled 3×3 league. Now, she’s locked in for the Sky’s 2025 opener against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on May 17.

Offense Is the Key: Angel Reese Aims to Expand Her Game
While Angel Reese made her mark last season as a dominant force on the glass, her offensive game left room for growth. Determined to level up, she spent her offseason working with WNBA legends, including Lisa Leslie, to expand her toolkit.

According to Chicago Tribune reporter Julia Poe, Reese hasn’t posted up once during training camp so far—an early sign of her evolution.
“It’s obviously a transition for me,” Reese admitted. “But I don’t mind if it frees up Kamilla (Cardoso).”
Despite shifting focus, Reese hasn’t abandoned her strengths. “I’m still doing my post work, but I’ve got to come with more this year,” she said. “I’ve got to be able to shoot the midrange shot, 10 to 15 feet, be able to shoot the 3, the 2 consistently. I work every day on it, so I’ve got to take the shots.”

Last season, Reese and fellow frontcourt star Kamilla Cardoso struggled to find synergy on the floor. But with new head coach Tyler Marsh calling the shots, the Sky are hopeful the dynamic duo can unlock their full potential—and maybe shake up the league while they’re at it.
