Angel Reese just showed off her three-point skill, as demonstrated by a new workout video where she is shown working on shooting from beyond the arc.
Iren Rainey, player development coach for the Chicago Sky, recently posted a workout video showing Angel Reese shooting for three and making the shots. Reese reposted it to her own story.

While Reese was never known to be a prolific three-pointer, her focus on making shots like those in the video shows the potential shift in strategy that the Sky is planning for the 2025 season. This also shows the determination on her side, as she is still recovering from the wrist injury she sustained recently while paying for Unrivaled.
Angel Reese recently sustained a hand injury during the final regular-season game of the Unrivaled league, which forced her to miss the semifinals and finals. The injury appeared to aggravate her surgically repaired left wrist, raising concerns about her long-term health. This setback was particularly disappointing as Reese had been a dominant force throughout the season, earning the Defensive Player of the Year award and leading the league in rebounds.

Reese’s wrist injury history dates back to her rookie season in the WNBA, where she cracked a bone in her wrist during a game against the Los Angeles Sparks. Despite the pain, she delivered an impressive performance before undergoing surgery to insert a screw into the bone.
During her rookie season with the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Reese led the league in rebounding and was named to the All-Rookie team.
Angel Reese Advocates For Better Pay for WNBA Players
In the past weeks, Angel Reese has been vocal in advocating for better pay in the WNBA, particularly as the league negotiates a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA). She has been outspoken about the financial challenges faced by players, highlighting the disparity between WNBA salaries and those in other professional sports leagues.

Reese has also taken bold steps to push for change, suggesting that players might strike if their demands are not met during the CBA negotiations. On her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” she emphasized the importance of securing a “transformational deal” that includes higher salaries and a larger share of league revenue.

Following her statement, several other WNBA players showed support for Angel Reese, clarifying that the league players are not looking for pay equal to the NBA, but better pay overall.
