Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has been in offseason mode since their WNBA season wrapped up. The “Chi-Town Barbie” has been sharing several clips of her training on Instagram as well as pictures of her showcasing her ensembles.
Her latest offering on her Instagram story shows her rocking a leopard-print dress in a mirror selfie. She posted the self-portrait on Friday night.
She shared another picture of her wearing the same outfit, paired with a black fur jacket, a pair of sunglasses, and a handbag.
No stranger to the fashion world, the 2024 Rookie of the Year runner-up can be frequently seen showcasing her self-styled outfits when attending various fashion events.
The WNBA offseason also gave Reese the opportunity to start and grow her podcast, eponymously titled, “Unapologetically Angel.” The one-time WNBA All-Star has had the opportunity to host a number of sports personalities and celebrities on her show, including basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, Dwyane Wade, and Sheryl Swoopes, as well as artists GloRilla and Polo G.
Angel Reese readies for Unrivaled league debut
While she has been keeping busy pursuing other endeavors and interests off the court during the WNBA offseason, Angel Reese is also taking time to prepare for her debut in the Unrivaled League, a women’s 3×3 professional basketball tournament founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.
The league announced back as early as July that Reese was the tenth player in its 36-player pool. The Chicago Sky star re-shared the post, expressing her excitement in anticipation of the league’s opening.

Angel Reese will be suiting up for the Rose Basketball Club in the inaugural season alongside Chealsea Gray, Kahleah Copper, Lexie Hull, Brittney Sikes, and Azura Stevens.
The Unrivaled League aims to give some of the women’s basketball stars more earning opportunities beyond the WNBA, as many of them join overseas professional leagues during the offseason to add to their finances. The new women’s 3×3 league will give them the opportunity to improve their game during the offseason while making some money without needing to go abroad.
Reese, who had her rookie season prematurely halted after she suffered a wrist injury, will be looking to make a mark in the 3×3 tournament. She missed the opportunity to play in the WNBA postseason, so it is no question that she’s aiming for the championship in the new league.
The tournament opens in January 2025 and will air on the TNT network.
