Angel Reese had a heartfelt message for her brother Julian Reese on his senior day. Julian, who plays for the Maryland Terrapins like his sister did from 2020 to 2022, played their regular season finale against the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday. He was honored alongside Jordan Geronimo, Ben Murphy, Selton Miguel, and Jay Young before the game.
Last Saturday on X, the Terrapins shared an almost-three-minute clip that included Angel among those that sent their congratulatory messages for her brother.
“JuJu, it’s your sister,” Angel said. “I just wanna wish you a happy Senior Night. I’m sorry I can’t be there tonight but I’m really really really really super proud of you and all that you’ve done over four years.
“You’ve created your own identity to who you are and what Julian Reese is. You represented Baltimore, you represented the city, you played in front of all our family, in front of our friends. Through all ups and downs, you stayed there, you stayed the course.
“The next level, I’m super excited for your next journey. You know your sister is always right there. I’m your No. 1 fan and you’re graduating this year too, so I’m super proud for that too.”

Aside from his sister, his mother Angel Webb-Reese, former Maryland assistant Grant Billmeier, and his former St. Frances Academy head coach Nick Myles also sent their congratulations to the Terrapins senior.

Julian is averaging 13.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.6 blocks this season. He is shooting 56.1% from the field and 73.1% from the charity stripe.
Angel Reese sounds off on WNBA’s new CBA negotiations
Angel Reese is aware that the WNBA’s new collective bargaining agreement could lead the league into a new era. The Chicago Sky star sat down with DiJonai Carrington on last Friday’s episode of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, talking about their desires for the new CBA.

In her conversation with Carrington, the “Bayou Barbie” mentioned hearing some players who said they she would sit out the next season if the offer was not favorable to them.

With the WNBA starting to show signs of growth, players in the league have expressed their desire to be remunerated accordingly. The league recently inked a $2.2 billion TV rights deal, putting it in a privileged position, and the athletes who are its most important assets want a slice of the pie.
