Angel Reese has something she doens’t like about Thanksgiving—and fans were divided between agreeing and disagreeing with her.
In her recent post on X, Reese revealed something she doesn’t want to eat for Thanksgiving. It’s not the iconic turkey, but something else.
“What’s a Thanksgiving dish y’all hate to see on Thanksgiving?” Reese asked through her post. “Mine is cranberry sauce ’cause y’all can honestly keep that lmaooo.”

The reaction to her Thanksgiving confession was divided—some fans agreed with her and also expressed how they never liked cranberry sauce, while some expressed their confusion about how people like Reese could not love the sauce, especially since it has always been a staple not only for Thanksgiving but also for other holidays not only in the US but also in other parts of the world.
She shared: “I actually cooked Thanksgiving dinner last year but this year I’ll be eating with the family at home!”
Angel Reese is no longer new to sharing her thoughts and feelings freely using her social media platforms. She has used her platform to share her journey off the WNBA, to show support for her friends and family, and more recently to clap back at haters poking negative comments her way.
Just recently, she responded to a fan who poked fun at her shooting skills, pointing out how she misses most of her layups. Angel Reese did not hold back in her response, shutting down the hater.
“Do you realize I got drafted 7th in my class while ‘missing layups’ as a ROOKIE shooting 39% on the year & was STILL an All-Star and that was the worst you’ll ever see me?” she answered. “Or you just laid up with your dog at home hating?”
Angel Reese to Play For Unrivaled in January
While Angel Reese is still offseason from the WNBA, she is set to play for Unrivaled, a new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league. Unrivaled will open its season in January, and Reese will play under Team Rose, with former Los Angeles Sparks coach Noal Henry.
Talking about her potential for the league, coach Henry expressed her expectations and strategy for maximizing Reese’s skills and play style. According to the coach, she believes Reese could benefit the most with working with her teammate Las Vegas Aces guard Chelsea Gray.
“I think Chelsea Gray will definitely help Angel’s development,” Henry said. “It’ll speed up her development — not just from a leadership standpoint, but also understanding the angles of the floor, and understanding screening.”
Angel Resse will play with Team Rose on Unrivaled alongside Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Azura Stevens, Brittney Sykes, and a wildcard player.
