Chicago Sky star Angel Reese gave her honest reaction to the recent swimsuit photoshoot for one sports magazine.
Angel Reese, who was also once featured in an issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, could not help but gush over the look of the TCU Horned Frogs star.

The post featured a photo of Hailey Van Lith wearing a black swimsuit with white piping. This was only one of the several styles she wore for the photoshoot.
During her shoot with the magazine, van Lith talked about the topic of loyalty.
“I am a loyal person, and I think some people laugh at me when I say that, because they’re like, ‘You’ve transferred twice,’” she said. “Loyalty begins with honoring yourself before you can truly honor other people. I think that sometimes my career puts ideas in people’s heads that I’m an individual [first and foremost], and that’s not the case.”

Angel Reese appeared in the 2023 edition of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, where she flaunted her style and confidence as she transitioned into her rookie WNBA season. Similarly, Cameron Brink was featured in the 2024 issue, celebrating her achievements as a Stanford basketball star and her advocacy for body positivity.

Photographed by Yu Tsai in Los Angeles, Reese posed in a series of colorful swimsuits, including a sparkly purple bikini that paid homage to her LSU team colors. The shoot highlighted her confidence and style, blending athleticism with glamour1. Reese’s debut in the annual issue marked another milestone in her journey, both as an athlete and a fashion icon and influencer.
Angel Reese Talks Caitlin Clark Rivalry in Swimsuit Feature
During her swimsuit photoshoot for Sports Illustrated, one of the topics Angel Reese talked about was her rivalry with the then-Iowa star Caitlin Clark. Reese, who was playing for LSU, was often pitted as a rival against Clark.
“Caitlin and I are cool,” Reese said. “It’s just being able to force people to accept that women can talk trash. The women’s side gets penalized for it, or we’re considered as not being ladylike and that we’re not playing by the rules. We work just as hard as the men. Women can be who we are. Women can be competitive.”

Angel Reese was selected as the 7th overall pick in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. During her rookie season, she averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. Reese also led the league in rebounds, earning the title of 2024 Rebounding Champion, and was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team.
