Recently, the TCU Horned Frogs defeated Baylor 51-48 in a nail-biting finish. Sedona Prince led TCU with 16 points and 19 rebounds, while Hailey Van Lith added 14 points, including crucial free throws down the stretch.

During the game, Van Lith made several key plays, including a three-pointer that extended TCU’s lead and a layup that helped maintain their advantage.
Winning the Big 12 title marks TCU’s first-ever championship in the conference, providing them with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Was Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith Ever Teammates?
Hailey Van Lith and Angel Reese had the opportunity to play together at LSU during the 2023-24 college basketball season. Van Lith transferred to LSU from Louisville, while Reese had already been with the Tigers for a year and led the team to a national title.

During their time as teammates at LSU, Hailey Van Lith and Angel Reese formed a dynamic duo that brought excitement and energy to the court. However, van Lith ultimately did not prosper with the team and in the end, decided to transfer.
“I think the last year of my career, I don’t think I’m going to reap the fruits of that yet. I think that will come when I’m a pro,” Van Lith said in an interview, as she recalled her time with LSU. “That year prepared me for the pros and what it’s going to be like at that level.”
“From a self-how to regulate yourself, how to make work something that isn’t necessarily perfect for you, how to make the best out of any situation. I think that what I learned last year will pay off for me in a couple of years and the world might not see it yet, but I know that it’s going to come.”
For the 2024-2025 season, Hailey Van Lith spent one more season as a transferee to TCU, while Angel Reese went on to be drafted in the WNBA under the Chicago Sky.
