Anthony Davis, who has been recently traded to the Dallas Mavericks, is deemed to have been a godsend to the team especially against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to renowned sports journalist, Stephen A. Smith. In a surprising turn of events, Anthony Davis was traded to the Mavericks.
Currently, the Dallas Mavericks are ranked eighth in the Western Conference with 26 wins and 24 defeats. In their most recent game, the Mavericks played against the Cleveland Cavaliers and lost the game miserably 144-101.
“I got Dallas as the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference right now. If you’re looking at Oklahoma City, as great as they have been, what has been their Achilles heel? The Dallas Mavericks seem to be an Achilles heel for OKC.” Stephen A. Smith said on ‘Get Up’.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are definitely a threat to the Dallas Mavericks, among other teams. Oklahoma City is presently reigning in the Western Conference with an impressive 39 wins and nine defeats. In their previous meeting with the Dallas Mavericks, the Thunder lost the game with a final score of 121-115, and before that lost again 106-98. With Anthony Davis entering the team, the Mavericks will have an additional strength to beat the Thunder again.

Meanwhile, Anthony Davis dropped quite a bit of a late reaction to his trade from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. Anthony Davis was definitely taken by surprise by the trade, and his exchange brought in Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers team.

Anthony Davis was the 1st overall pick in the 1st round of the 2012 NBA Draft and was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans whom he played for from 2012 to 2019. He then was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, creating a lasting legacy in the team from the 2019 NBA season.
