Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards got shade from ex-girlfriend Alexandria Desroches, as the latter dropped a cryptic post with the message of not wanting to be associated with the NBA star.
In her Instagram story, Alexandria Desroches threw shade towards Anthony Edwards, with what sounded like a message of not wanting to be associated with him.
“Please stop associating my name with that man!” Desroches wrote. “Stop posting old sh!t chopping it up to make it seem what it is not damn! Its step daddy season WTF 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰we dont know that man thank ya.”
“Everyone moved on in there lives im confused why old stuff is being posted? Plus yall aint never heard of a sperm bank baby 🥰,” she added.
Anthony Edwards and Alexandria Desroches were romantically involved for several years, but their relationship has since become complicated due to legal disputes.
The two reportedly met in 2020 and maintained a non-exclusive relationship, but their connection took a serious turn when Desroches became pregnant. Their son, Amir, was born in October 2023, and since then, their relationship has been largely defined by custody and child support battles.

Edwards initially filed a paternity suit in Georgia, claiming that their child was conceived and born there, while Desroches filed her own petition in New York, arguing that she and Amir had been residing there for over a year.
The legal battle between Edwards and Desroches has been ongoing, with Desroches claiming that Edwards has provided limited financial support for their son. She has requested that Edwards be legally determined as Amir’s father and that he contribute to childcare, insurance, and pre- and post-natal expenses.

Edwards, on the other hand, has reportedly admitted to paternity but has sought to establish his child support obligations through the courts. Desroches’ lawyer has stated that she is raising Amir as a single mother and has an open-door policy for Edwards to be involved in his son’s life.
Anthony Edwards Embraces ‘Legend Killer’ Role
As the Minnesota Timberwolves continue their dominant playoff run, NBA fans and analysts are taking notice of Anthony Edwards’ rise as a “Legend Killer.”
His fearless approach has drawn comparisons to WWE legend Randy Orton, who earned the nickname “Legend Killer” for systematically taking down wrestling icons to establish his own legacy. Orton himself made a social media post passing on the “Legend Killer” torch to Edwards in a comic-style art.

So far this season, Anthony Edwards is averaging 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game across 79 games. His shooting splits are 44.7% from the field, 39.5% from three, and 83.7% from the free-throw line.
