The Philadelphia 76ers have lost three games in a row, and it’s been a testament of their inconsistent season. With two crucial losses to the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks, Philly has been simply dropping the ball. What makes it so bad is that Milwaukee was without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Detroit was missing Cade Cunningham. There are no excuses for this 76ers team (who had Joel Embiid in both games) to lose these games. The Standings Look Rough For  The 76ers Philadelphia has been struggling all year to stay in the playoff race. They are currently the eleventh seed and…

The 2024-25 NBA season provided one of the craziest trade deadlines of all time. All-NBA talents such as Luka Doncic, Anthony Davis, De’Aaron Fox and Jimmy Butler were all moved in the past week. Other All-Stars such as Zach Lavine, Khris Middleton, Andrew Wiggins and Brandon Ingram were also moved in the busy trade deadline. Many players avoided getting traded, but their respective teams probably should have let them go. Here are the players who survived (but shouldn’t have) the deadline. Paul George George has had his worst season in over a decade. He is posting just 16.9 points per…

Nikola Jokic shocked the world again last night versus the Sacramento Kings. He posted a lethal stat line of 35 points, 22 rebounds and 17 assists in the win. He is only one of two players to ever accomplish an insane feat of a 35/20/15 stat line, joining the late Wilt Chamberlain. The Nuggets now sit at the fourth seed in the stacked Western Conference. Once again, they are in contention for another NBA title, and with Jokic playing at MVP-level, it is looking very possible. Jokic is averaging 30.2 points, 13.4 rebounds and 10.1 assists per game this season.…

Rutgers basketball made a huge splash by recruiting star players Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper to their program. For a program that’s been in the college basketball gutter for some years, Bailey and Harper were supposed to change that. So far, the Scarlet Knights have struggled mightily this season. They are 10-9 and sit at 13th place in the Big Ten Conference. The two potential top five draft picks in the 2025 NBA Draft have not led Rutgers to the promised land as people hoped. Underwhelming Hoops Rutgers has been inconsistent all season thus far. They are 5-5 in their…

Joel Embiid is now out for an indefinite of time after experiencing increased swelling to his left knee. He has recently dealt with a sprained left foot as well. With the piling of injuries over the course of his ten year professional career, Embiid should seriously consider the possibility of retirement. Why He Should Retire Hearing that the 30-year-old superstar who just won MVP in 2023 should retire sounds blasphemous, but it’s a reality that makes sense. Since being drafted in 2014, Joel Embiid has gotten hurt in every single season of his career. For big men, lower body injuries…

The New York Knicks fell to the Detroit Pistons 124-119 tonight. New York has struggled all season to beat good teams, and the loss versus Detroit continued that showing. The Knicks are 5-9 versus teams with 20+ wins, and that’s not good for a team that’s supposed to be championship contenders. They are also 0-5 versus the top two seeded teams in each conference. Investing too much into a starting five can hurt a team in the long run. New York has one of the best starting units in the association, but there has to be a balance from the…
