The Boston Celtics pulled all the stops when celebrating their 18th NBA championship. Not only does the win put them above their bitter rivals in total banners, but it also gives the city another reason to celebrate after an excellent season featuring some of the best team basketball in the postseason.

Al Horford was one of the most important components of the Celtics’ championship run. While he didn’t light up the scoreboard the same way Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown did, but he was a part of the unstoppable frontcourt duo with Kristaps Porzingis that baffled opposing coaches to no end.

To make things even better, Horford showed up to the parade in an iconic fit: he donned a shirt featuring a drunk Tom Brady during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ championship parade in 2020.

It was something that had fans up in stitches due to how the Dominican big man approached it and how he chose to honor the greatest quarterback to ever play for the New England Patriots.

It seemed like the news of Horford’s clothing choice reached the ears of the GOAT, and he had some nice words to say about champion.

The image of Horford’s outfit quickly made rounds on social media, so it was only a matter of time before the man himself was going to see Horford wearing a shirt that featured a drunk Tom Brady during the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl 55 celebrations.

He immediately reposted the photos with a gif that expressed his support of Horford’s clothing choice:

It’s clear that Brady, the man who brought six Super Bowls to New England, clearly approves of Horford’s clothing choices. It’s a clear tribute to a man who did a lot for Boston’s sporting heritage, and it perfectly represents what Horford feels at the moment.

With such a stunt, you can expect Boston Celtics fans to want Horford to run it back with the team next season.
