Al Horford may no longer be in his prime, but he still leaves a lasting impact on the Boston Celtics, especially in the NBA playoffs.

The 38-year-old made his presence felt (again) during the Boston Celtics’ 107-98 Game 4 win against the Orlando Magic last Sunday, finishing with six points, six rebounds, two assists, and five blocks on 2-for-7 shooting from the field in 35 minutes.
In the process, Horford became the second-oldest player to have at least five blocks in a playoff game, joining only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to achieve this old-man feat.

Overall, the Boston Celtics center averages 6.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.0 blocks while shooting 40.0 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from three in four matches this series.
Boston Celtics News: Al Horford’s solid Game 4 performance draws praise from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown
Boston Celtics forwards Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown took turns to praise Al Horford for his strong performance in Game 4. Whether it’s guarding Paolo Banchero or blocking Cory Joseph, Horford was all over the place, and his efforts don’t go unnoticed.

“I can’t say it enough, Al is unbelievable…He’s 38 years old, and he is picking them up full court, doing whatever is asked of him. That kind of sets the tone for everybody else. He’s got the heart of a champion,” Tatum said about Horford via Justin Turpin of WEEI.
“Tremendous. Tremendous effort from Al down the stretch in that second half. Big time rebounds, big time plays … He just did what it took to win. We really expect nothing less. That’s just Al Horford in a nutshell,” Brown added.
