It’s been a memorable season for the Boston Celtics as they finally won their first NBA championship since 2008. It’s been a long time coming when you consider the quality of players they have on the roster, but no one can deny that the team deserves the win.

The heavy favorites to defend their title in the 2024-25 season had quite a party to celebrate the win when thousands of Bostonians and Celtics fans made their way to the city and celebrate with the team.

Jaylen Brown had a particularly great time during the parade. The 2024 NBA Finals MVP had a great time during the festivities, basking in the moment he and his teammates created for the city. However, he unfortunately lost a valued ring during the championship parade festivities.

While some may have thought that the piece of jewelry was forever lost, the shooting guard trusted the Boston fandom and made a public plea for the ring’s return. He got a happy ending to this incident.

Jaylen Brown will invite people who returned lost ring to the Boston Celtics’ ring ceremony

Brown was wearing some nice jewelry during the championship parade because he wanted to look nice in front of the fans who came out to see them. However, he lost track of one of his rings during the chaotic energy of the parade.

He used social media to try and find his ring. While it took a while, the post eventually found its way to a couple named Luke and Andi who managed to keep the ring.

The two happily returned the prized possession to JB, who expressed his gratitude to the good Samaritans on social media.

“Got it back thank you to Luke and Adi I’ll see you courtside at the [championship ring] ceremony,” Brown posted on X.

It’s obvious with the way he posted the image of the recovered ring how important it was to him, so the two lucky Boston Celtics fans can expect great treatment from the Finals MVP come the ring ceremony.

Will Brown and the Boston Celtics defend their NBA title?

It’s hard to predict whether the Celtics can defend their title next season. While they still have one of the best all-around teams in the league, the rest of the league will place targets on their backs and make life difficult whenever they meet.

However, Jaylen Brown is ready to take them on. The 6’6″ guard averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals a game last season while playing beside another ball-dominant player like Jayson Tatum.

Moreover, he will be eager to play better now that he knows the entire city of Boston has his back after the incident with his ring.
