The usually stoic Boston Celtics center Al Horford believes the Orlando Magic crossed the line with their physicality during their 103-86 Game 1 win.

Jayson Tatum is listed as doubtful for Game 2 after the Boston Celtics swingman hurt his wrist last Sunday. The six-time NBA All-Star collided with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Wendell Carter Jr. while going up for a dunk and fell hard.
“I’m not sure what goes into (plays like that),” Horford said via ESPN’s Baxter Holmes. “(The) only thing I would say is that it’s the playoffs, so the game is going to be more physical, it’s going to be more intense. I feel like those plays are probably going to happen more often than not.”

Despite hurting his wrist, Tatum still managed to finish Game 1. He put up 17 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists on 8-for-22 shooting from the field.
Boston Celtics News: Joe Mazzulla provides update on Jayson Tatum ahead of Game 2
Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla went viral for his “tough love” moment with Jayson Tatum in Game 1. After Tatum hurt his wrist, Mazzulla implored Tatum to get up and reportedly told the team’s trainers not to assist his star player.

During the team’s most recent practice, Mazzulla provided some good news about Tatum but did not commit to anything ahead of Game 2.
“He was able to do some stuff (at practice),” Mazzulla said via Celtics on CLNS. “He was sore after the game, he’s gotten better today. He was able to go through some on-court work, and we’ll go from there.”
