Former Indiana Pacer superstar and Basketball Hall of Famer Reggie Miller gave Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum a shoutout on social media, with the retired sharpshooter saying that Tatum has not even reached his full potential in the NBA.
“So PROUD of @jaytatum0!! Love the work he puts in on and off the court to be the best, he’s only scratching the surface people..” Mille captioned his Instagram Story post.
"He's only scratching at the surface."

Tatum just became an NBA champion when he helped the Celtics have one of the greatest runs in NBA playoffs history. The Celtics lost just three games in the 2024 NBA Playoffs and erased the Dallas Mavericks in only five games in the NBA Finals. Tatum also has five NBA All-Star nods and is a three-time All-NBA First Team. But despite all the accolades, Tatum, in the eyes of Miller, still has plenty of room to grow as a basketball player.
Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum may just be only getting started

The former Duke Blue Devils star is still just 26 years old. He might not have even hit his peak yet. That’s a scary thought for Celtics rivals, who have targets on the back of Boston following the team’s unforgettable 2023-24 NBA campaign where the C’s put together a 64-18 record.

Tatum. who averaged 26.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists last season, will be helping the Celtics for years to come after signing a five-year $314 million Designated Veteran contract extension with Boston earlier this month.
