Bronny James was recently showered with compliments by none other than his Los Angeles Lakers head coach, JJ Redick. In a recent interview with ‘Lakers Reporter’, Reddick went on to commend Bronny James for keeping his head straight despite the many challenges that he has already faced as a newbie in the NBA.
Bronny James and his father, LeBron James, have been at the receiving end of plenty of criticism, mainly after the young basketball player was drafted into the NBA by the Los Angeles Lakers. Last year, a young Bronny and his father, King James, created history as the first father-son duo to play for the same team in the same game.
Bronny definitely struggled for several games, failing to put up any impressive score for the team. Several NBA analysts even went on to advise LeBron James to consider shifting Bronny to the G-League instead of making him continue with the Lakers. Yesterday, Bronny James managed to shift the narrative around his name by earning 17 points against Milwaukee.
“I texted Bron in May, I was not the coach. I was an NBA analyst and podcaster at that time and I texted Bron and I was like, ‘Man, Bronny has his head on straight, like he gets it.’ And since day one, I have just been impressed with the person that he is and to deal with frankly, bulls**t, because of who his dad is and just keep a level head about it, and be a class act, says a lot about him, says a lot about that family and the way Savannah and LeBron have raised him.” JJ Redick said about Bronny James and his parents to Lakers Reporter.
“Not surprised by tonight, I think his confidence is growing… certainly an NBA player.”

Bronny James, the eldest son of LeBron James, played high school basketball for Sierra Canyon, before joining the USC Trojans for college basketball from 2023 to 2024. James soon entered the NBA draft and was the 55th overall pick in the second round and was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bronny James And Los Angeles Lakers To Meet Chicago Bulls Next
On another note, Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers are gearing up to meet the Chicago Bulls in the very next matchup of their NBA regular season. The Lakers are coming here after playing against the Milwaukee Bucks, where Bronny put up an impressive performance.

The Lakers are currently ranked fourth in the Western Conference with 43 wins and 26 defeats. After taking on the Chicago Bulls, the LA Lakers will be locking horns with the Orlando Magic for their next game.
