Bronny James has drawn quite a bit of attention since he joined the NBA. Many believe that LeBron James’ influence helped him get there and due to that, others have missed opportunities. Recently, Al Horford’s sister, Anna Horford, had something to say on the young star.
Bronny has been benefiting from nepotism and Anna said that her “heart broke” to see other players not given the opportunity. She feels that there are better players than Bronny, who deserve an opportunity. While Anna deleted the post on X, she mentioned that she owes no explanation to anyone, especially the Lakers in particular.
The Celtics champion’s sister took to social media to address her previous comment.
“Lakers twitter is dying for me to respond to a comment about Bronny from November. I don’t owe anyone an explanation, lmao. There are so many more important things to be discussing right now. Some of you genuinely need to get lives. Great to hear he’s doing well in the G-league,” Anna wrote.

Bronny James has been killing it in the G-League after recording a career-high 39 points while playing against the Santa Cruz Warriors. James’ performance raised a question about Anna’s comment.

Bronny James Shares Confident Message After His Strong Performance
The rising star had a few hiccups initially. Yet, he picked up the pace for South Bay Lakers. After his extraordinary performance, James shared a confident message, saying he’s trying to prove himself.
“I belong out here, it’s all I’m trying to prove,” James said.

The rookie is averaging 22.4 points in 10 regular-season games. He recorded 5.2 rebounds with 5.1 assists. He’s also shooting at 46 percent from his field goal attempts. From the three-point territory, Bronny James is closing in at 37.5 percent.

James is trying to put his doubters in place and he seems to be achieving his goal. The talented player has come a long way and has shown significant improvement over the last few months. Many still have their doubts on Bronny James becoming a legitimate NBA rotation player. However, in time, he might be able to put them all at bay.
The Santa Cruz Warriors broke their six-game winning streak after James’ top performance. He tossed in four three-pointers with seven rebounds, four steals, and four assists. LeBron James is undoubtedly proud of his son’s top performance and looks forward to playing with him more.
