The Brooklyn Nets suffered a 121-102 loss against the Portland Trail Blazers last Friday night, extending their losing streak to three games.

However, it wasn’t all bad for the Brooklyn Nets, as Cam Thomas returned to the court after missing nearly two months of action due to a significant hamstring injury.
In his first game back, the 23-year-old guard started and had 16 points and two rebounds on 7-for-17 shooting from the field in 21 minutes.

“Totally. I’ve never been out this much ever, so it’s definitely an adjustment,” Thomas said via Brian Lewis of The New York Post. “But I’m just glad to be back; ready to get on the court and play again. So, it feels good.”
Brooklyn Nets News: Cam Thomas draws praise from head coach Jordi Fernandez
Brooklyn Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez was happy to see Cam Thomas back in action since he gives them a huge scoring punch. Thomas didn’t shoot well from the field, but Fernandez believes he will see better performances from his shooting guard.

“He got up 17 shots in 21 minutes. He got open, that’s what he does… But again, I want him to score, playmake, and defend. We’ll hold each other accountable to be better,” Fernandez said about Thomas via Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.
“It was great to have him on the court, great to see that he was able to get those shots up. And I’m pretty sure that he wants to be better and wants to help the team,” he added.
