Bryce James, son of LeBron James, recently wished his former Sierra Canyon teammate, Christopher Nwuli, all the best for his transfer to Dynamic Prep. James, who also announced his college selection some time back in the University of Arizona, is looking forward to a stunning career in college basketball after impressing during his years at Sierra Canyon.
The news about Nwuli transferring to Dynamic Prep was announced on Thursday, with James reposting the story with clear happiness for his former teammate. Bryce re-shared an impressive graphic depicting Nwuli in a brilliant red color scheme. While James is going to Arizona, Nwuli has committed to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
“Go be great ❤️ @nwuli.christopher,” Bryce James posted on his Instagram.
Meanwhile, the decision by Christopher Nwuli drew plenty of attention from basketball fans in general who brought up mixed reactions. Several fans remarked that Sierra Canyon’s program seems to have declined in quality and thus many players seem to be leaving. Nwuli will find plenty of great company at Dynamic Prep, in Jermaine O’Neal and Jaden Toombs.
Bryce James Blown Away By Dad’s Dunk Against Dallas Mavericks
Meanwhile, Bryce James seems to be still star-struck by his father, LeBron James. James and the Los Angeles Lakers recently faced the Dallas Mavericks, in which the 40-year-old showed off a spectacular dunk, which clearly impressed Bryce James.
Bryce James immediately posted an Instagram story showing off a clip of his dad’s dunk with the caption, “Omg”. In that game, LeBron James managed to score a total of 18 points, grabbing ten rebounds and assisting eight times. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis led the team on the scoreboard with 21 points, along with 12 boards, the highest for the Lakers.
Austin Reaves and Max Christie put up 15 points and 12 points respectively. Despite a decent performance from the Los Angeles Lakers, the team lost to the Mavericks, 118-97. The Lakers are currently ranked sixth in the Western Conference after winning 20 games and losing 16 so far, and are presently riding a two-game losing streak.
The Lakers and LeBron James will try to shake off their losing streak by winning against the San Antonio Spurs this weekend. The Lakers were actually scheduled to play the Charlotte Hornets, but the game was postponed as a result of the ongoing fires in various counties around Los Angeles. Hopefully, LeBron James will be able to put more impressive plays for his son to brag about in the upcoming games.
