Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, had a straightforward but perfect response to the Indiana Fever giving a shoutout to Clark.
The Indiana Fever’s X account posted a photo celebrating Caitlin Clark and her WNBA achievements, as the WNBA goes into its Rookies Week. The post had a long list of all of Clark’s achievements and accolades during her rookie year.

The list of achievements, which included a lot of firsts in the WNBA, a lot of mosts, and a lot of records broken, was so long that one user worried it might take them too long before they finished reading the list.
“The new season will be here by the time I finish reading this post,” the user on X posted.

Caitlin Clark was named WNBA’s Rookie of The Year. Prior to that, she was also the first pick for the 2024 WNBA draft, after making waves in college basketball.
Caitlin Clark’s WNBA Worth Calculated: “They Don’t Seem Real”
Caitlin Clark is one of the most valuable names in women’s basketball right now, if not the entirety of women’s sports. Clark has made a name for herself all the way from her college days at the Iowa Hawkeyes and has continued to carry on with the so-called “Caitlin Clark effect” to the WNBA.
But with all the hype around the Fever star, how much is she really worth if an expert would calculate things with all factors considered?
The Indianapolis Star got valuation guru Dr. Ryan Brewer to calculate the value of Caitlin Clark as a player and how much added value she brings to the WNBA.
“The numbers are so staggering,” said Brewer. “They don’t even seem real.”
Per his calculations, Clark is responsible for 26.5% of the WNBA’s league-wide activity for the 2024 season, which means that one out of six tickets sold was because of her. WNBA viewership also went up 300% due to Clark’s pull and 45% of total broadcast value was from Fever, where Clark plays.
Games, where Caitlin played, were watched by 1.2 million people on average, which is at least 199% more than viewers of games she did not play in.
WNBA merchandise sales also catapulted by 500%, with Clark at the top spot, and Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese at the #2 spot.
“Now, let’s take a breath for a minute and think about this,” said Brewer. “That’s for one year. We’re talking about one player.”
Caitlin Clark is set to return to the Indiana Fever for the 2025 WNBA season. She was invited to take part in the 3-on-3 league Unrivaled but ultimately declined.
