Caitlin Clark is stirring the pot with several hot takes which she dropped in the latest ‘New Heights’ podcast episode with the Kelce brothers. Apart from discussing her personal life and NBA ratings, Clark went on to discuss the revised All-Star Game format.
The All-Star Game is hosted every February by the NBA to showcase their best 24 players. However, for the upcoming game on February 16, 2025, the NBA has chosen to make a few changes to the format which was not taken too well.
Accordingly, the contest will start with semifinal games which have a target score of 40. The teams that win in this round will go to face each other in the championship round, which has a max score of 25.
Several NBA stars like Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis have come out to remark how displeased they were with the new format and batted for the old one, which is the classic East vs. West format. Surprisingly, Caitlin Clark too voiced the same.
“So I saw Kevin Durant said this…that they should go back to the East vs. West and that’s when I loved it. I think it should be East vs. West like that’s true All-Stars.” Caitlin Clark said on ‘New Heights’.

When asked about the new All-Star game format some time ago, KD went on to say that he absolutely ‘hates’ it. However, he also seems to be keeping an open mind and stated that the new proposed format may also work wonders for the league.
Caitlin Clark’s BF Connor McCaffery Suffers Slow Start To 2025
While Caitlin Clark is simply delighting her fans in the first week of 2025, the same cannot be said about her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. McCaffery is currently a coach for the Butler Bulldogs men’s basketball team. Recently, the Bulldogs were paired with the Villanova Wildcats and lost the game with a disappointing 73-65 final score.
Jahmyl Telfort was the only saving grace for Butler in that game, chalking up an impressive 25 points, after grabbing ten rebounds and assisting six times. In response to the dismal performance, Butler fans are out asking for Clark to be present in future games.
It is true that in the past, the Butler Bulldogs have performed well when Caitlin Clark was watching from the sidelines. Hopefully, the Bulldogs will be able to recover from their five-game losing streak soon enough, with or without Clark watching.
