Caitlin Clark has missed the Indiana Fever’s last five games due to a left quad injury — a blow to both the team and her chances of securing a spot in the upcoming WNBA All-Star Game. But it seems her fans are not taking no for an answer.
On Friday, several WNBA journalists claimed their emails had been hacked — allegedly by Clark supporters attempting to cast extra votes on her behalf for the All-Star Game.
Lo Byke, host of The Best Damn W Show and Keep’n it 9450, was one of the first to raise the alarm on X.
“Multiple media members have had their emails hacked by Caitlin fans… All for the sake of voting her into the All-Star game? This next level sh**. Y’all don’t feel crazy doing this? All for an ALL STAR GAME? Weirdos, man,” she tweeted.

Ballislife reporter Sara Jane Gamelli backed the claim by sharing a screenshot of unsolicited vote confirmations in her inbox.
“Woke up to more votes in my inbox!” she posted.
“Fan base is unhinged. Call it how I see it. Harassment and threats for what? Some people are just truly showing why this has been the elephant in the room no one’s been talking about.”

The 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend will be hosted in Indianapolis, which may explain the fever pitch from fans hoping to see Clark represent the home team at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on July 19.
“I’ve Never Seen This Type of Excitement”: Caitlin Clark All-In on Indiana Future
Despite the injury setback and early-season struggles, Caitlin Clark remains committed to the Fever and the Indiana faithful.
“(Tyrese Haliburton) and I would both tell you this is where we both hope to stay the rest of our careers,” Clark told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.
“People are like, ‘It’s a small market.’ But no, that’s what makes it fun. These people — this is what means the world to them.”

She added,
“We haven’t hosted a Finals game in 25 years, and I’ve never seen this type of excitement… And they’re the same for the Fever.”
There’s no official word on when Clark will return to action, but if her fans’ passion is any indication, her absence won’t dull the hype — or the heat.
