Caitlin Clark is no stranger to the spotlight, whether it’s leading the Indiana Fever on the court or making waves off it. But when the WNBA star was asked about her fashion sense in a video posted on X Thursday, she had a moment of pure, unfiltered awkwardness.

Sitting between DeWanna Bonner and coach Stephanie White, Clark looked visibly flustered by the unexpected question. Bonner and White couldn’t help but laugh as Clark hesitated before finally admitting she doesn’t put too much thought into her wardrobe choices.

“I didn’t know we’ll have fashion questions—well, Prada has become my favorite brand, everybody knows that—I don’t know. I just wear whatever my stylist tells me to, that makes it easy to show up for games,” she said, cracking a smile.

She followed up with a more serious note: “But honestly, finding what you are comfortable with and what you enjoy wearing.”

someone asked caitlin a fashion question and she got shy 😭 steph white and DB laughed at her 😭

Clark has already built a reputation for her off-court style, making waves with her WNBA Draft night look and shining at All-Star weekend. But this was one of the rare times she was asked for her personal take on fashion—hence the hilariously flustered reaction.

Caitlin Clark’s take on the revamped Indiana Fever

Wardrobe questions aside, Caitlin Clark isn’t losing sight of what truly matters—bringing wins back to Indiana.

After a tough rookie campaign, the Fever made serious offseason moves, bringing in clutch veterans like DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard, Sophie Cunningham, and Sydney Colson to surround Clark and fellow young star Aliyah Boston.

“The main thing we were lacking last year was experience,” Clark said. “Adding really great vets like [Bonner] and Syd [Colson] and Tash [Howard] and putting that experience around us—of not just being in this league but also winning. They have the championship pedigree.”

No doubt, the Fever are shifting from “rebuilding project” to legit East contenders with this revamped roster. Clark’s leadership, combined with the seasoned vets, gives them the kind of balance that championship teams are built on.

The Fever tip off their 2025 season on Saturday, May 17, against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Expect Clark to be dialed in—and maybe rocking some Prada while she’s at it.
