Caitlin Clark and Gabbie Marshall have managed to be close friends, even after the former left the Iowa Hawkeyes to play for the Indiana Fever. While Clark has continued her basketball career, Marshall seems to have stopped playing professionally. In her fifth season of college basketball, the player publicly announced her retirement from the game in order to focus on graduate school.
Marshall has been dating Spencer Touro for a while now, and recently the two put up a video on TikTok. The video, which is six minutes long, features Gabbie Marshall posing a number of questions that only women might be familiar with. The video has many viewers side-splitting with laughter at Touro’s funny responses to many of the questions. In response to the video, Clark commented, mainly referring to the whiteboard that Marshall was holding.
“Love y0ur whiteboard. Was essential to make the video possible.” Clark posted.
The questions were quite female-specific, with Marshall asking a visibly confused Touro about a ‘waterline’. Female grooming and make-up were other topics covered in the questions. This is not Clark’s first comment on Marshall and Touro’s posts. The lovebirds put up a post from their ‘date night’ last month, to which Clark responded with love.
Caitlin Clark Honors Iowa Hawkeyes’ Kid Captain After She Passes Away
The Iowa Hawkeyes recently had to struggle with the fact that their ‘Kid Captain’, Krysty Bujakowska had passed away. The 12-year-old had been struggling with osteosarcoma, most specifically in her leg, for the last two years, and was admitted in the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
During her honorary role as Kid Captain for the Iowa Women’s Basketball game on October 15th, Krysty was a major source of inspiration and motivation for the team. On her passing, several Iowa team members came forward to pay their respects, with former Iowa player Caitlin Clark reposting an Instagram story to offer her condolences to the family.
The team remarked that the young girl had changed their players and mentioned how grateful they were to have Krysty as part of their unit. In response to Iowa’s post, many other basketball stars came forward to remember the Kid Captain, including Caitlin Clark who posted six hearts. Jan Jensen, head coach of the Hawkeyes, also posted on X expressing her sadness at young Krysty passing away.
