On May 22, second-year WNBA star Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will travel to play the Atlanta Dream at State Farm Arena, the home of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.
Per a release by the Fever, the game had to be relocated to State Farm Arena from the Dream’s home court at The Gateway Center Arena @ College Park. Despite the relocation, the tip-off will remain on schedule for 7:30 p.m. EST.
The cause for the relocation wasn’t initially disclosed. It appeared to be an upgrade for the Fever, as the Chicago Sky and Fever are set to play their games at the United Center because of an increase in fan interest.
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were moved over a graduation

Per Colin Salao of Front Office Sports, the move happened because of a scheduling conflict. The Fever and Dream were booted in favor of a high school graduation.
“But it appears there really is a scheduling conflict: the Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) high school graduations,” Salao wrote. “CCPS announced Nov. 13 that the final three days (May 21–23) of its five-day high school graduations would be held at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) in College Park.
“The WNBA and its teams announced the 2025 regular-season schedule in early December. The GICC operates the Gateway Center Arena and the two share the same parking lot, although it’s unclear whether the arena will also be used for the graduations.”
The State Farm Arena can hold 16,600 fans compared to 3,500 at Gateway Center Arena. Hopefully, Atlanta fans take advantage of the increased supply of seats to watch Clark.
