Caitlin Clark left a thrilling comment on Indiana Fever’s Instagram post showing Aliyah Boston’s selfie with Clark and Kelsey Mitchell during the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game. The photo was part of a series of snapshots made by the Fever to recall moments of the previous All-Star match.
Clark commented on Boston’s selfie: “Selfie goes incredibly hard,” which was the spotlight of the Fever’s post, garnering 630 likes. She was happy to see their selfie captured four months ago on social media.

The Fever trio was a part of Team WNBA’s roster against Team USA, a chance for the former to clash against the national squad deployed last 2024 Paris Olympics. Surprisingly, the former won the exhibition match thanks to Arike Ogunbowale’s 34 points and six assists.
Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark made four points and ten assists. She was also ranked first in the All-Star’s fan vote results with more than 700,000. Boston and Mitchell gained four and 13 points, respectively.
Clark, Boston, and Mitchell proved significant in boosting the Fever’s standing to 20-20 last season and entering the Playoffs for the first time since 2016. However, they lost against the Connecticut Sun in the first round of the Playoffs under head coach Stephanie White.
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever seek to achieve better results in the next season under White, who left the Sun. With experience playing and managing the Fever, the returning coach could further propagate Clark, Boston, and Mitchell’s potential and maximize their court plays.
NBA Legend Compares Caitlin Clark-Reese Rivalry to His Own
Many WNBA fans had long compared Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, both rising superstars in the league. NBA legend Magic Johnson compares the Clark-Reese rivalry to his showdown with Larry Bird, highlighting how both competitions have shaped their respective legacies.
In an episode of the podcast “SPEAK” with Paul Pierce and co-hosts, Johnson believes that Clark and Reese would heavily change the WNBA’s momentum with the popularity they have received since college.
“I love it because to your point, they dominated in college…and then they brought it over to the WNBA, just like we brought it to the NBA,” Johnson said after being asked by host John Taylor.
“We changed the NBA. They changed the WNBA. And now everything that these young ladies have been fighting for, they’re about to get, right?”
Clark and Reese notably clashed in the 2023 national championships, where the latter emerged victorious. Both continue their rivalry in the WNBA, with the Indiana Fever star dominating the ROTY race.
Despite the rivalry, Caitlin Clark is not hostile towards Reese. The two teamed up in the 2024 WNBA’s All-Star Game, with their team winning against the lineup deployed in the Paris Olympics.
