Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate, recently tried her hand at “coaching,” that fans ultimately praised her for, as she calls for Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson to challenge a referee call—which he eventually did.
During ther recent game of the cavs against the Boston Celtics, a jump ball was called on the Cavs side, which prompted reaction on the courtside, where Aliyah Boston happens to be sitting watching the game. Most people protested over the call, but it was Boston’s hysterical protest and ruging of Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinsons that gained the most attention, all the way to social media.
Boston urged Atkinson to challenge the call, repeatedly, until the coach did so.

The call came from when Celtics forward Jayson Tatum was dribbling through the hoop and lost the ball out of bounds. The ref called a jump ball, and this was the call that Atkinson ultimately challenged. Fortunately or him and the Cavs, the challenge was accepted and the call was overturned.
Later on, Boston took to her social media and recalled the moment, saying that it is something that she could not just let pass.
“I try my best to be quiet but I can’t help it,” she said.

Caitlin Clark was also spotted doing something similar recently in a game between her former team Iowa and Drake, reacting to a referee call and not hesitating to show her disagreement with it.
