Caitlin Clark turned in another impressive performance on Monday night as she did all she could to lead the Indiana Fever to a much-needed win against the Connecticut Sun. Unfortunately, Clark and Co. fell short again as they now fall 0-4 to start the WNBA season.
Clark, however, made sure to make her mark in this one yet again.

Clark’s triple put the Fever up by two points at that crucial juncture and as expected, the Indiana crowd went absolutely bonkers.
After the game, Clark was asked to share her thoughts on her wild triple. While the 22-year-old rookie was clearly delighted with the play, she could not help but admit how painful it was to lose their fourth game in a row:
“I think it was a good shot, gave us some momentum, got the crowd going,” she said. “… I think you can see the progress this team is making and that’s why this one hurts a lot because we were right there.”

Clark finished the loss with 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting, to go along with three rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and three triples in 27 minutes of action.
Caitlin Clark Suffers Injury Scare
Clark also had the home crowd worried sick after she went down in the first half after twisting her ankle during a defensive play. The rookie sensation had to leave the game to get herself checked in the locker room:

Thankfully, the former Iowa superstar was able to return after the halftime break, and she was able to finish the game without incident. The Fever may have just dodged a bullet here.
