Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark may not be able to “survive” the “lesbian PYSOP” that is the WNBA. At least, this is what analyst and critic Jason Whitlock thinks of the future of the women’s basketball league, in light of the things he saw during the 2025 Draft night.
In one of the recent episodes of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock expressed his concern for Caitlin Clark and whether she could “survive” the “lesbian PSYOP” that is the WNBA.
“Someone put it in in my tweet mentions that, hey look the WNBA is a lesbian PSYOP, Jason,” he said. “And are you going to participate in the lesbian PSYOP by continuing to promote this brand and this league? And I have real questions about whether I can do it.”
With that said, Whitlock is worried about one particular player who he thinks would have the hardest time in evading the “lesbian PSYOPS.”
“I like Caitlin Clark, but I’m not super confident that Caitlin Clark is going to survive the culture in the WNBA,” he added. “Most of the time, that culture the culture you exist in eventually wins out.”

Jason Whitlock has expressed his opinions towards the WNBA in the past. In the previous episodes of his program, he often called players of the league “angry lesbians,” and frequently referred to the league as a “lesbian league.”
Caitlin Clark Keeps Record for WNBA Draft Viewership
Despite impressive numbers of the draft event this year, Caitlin Clark and the 2024 WNBA Draft kept the record for the most-viewed draft night in the league’s history.
The 2024 WNBA Draft, featuring Caitlin Clark as the No. 1 overall pick by the Indiana Fever, set a historic benchmark for viewership. The event averaged 2.45 million viewers and peaked at 3.09 million, making it the most-watched WNBA Draft in history.

In comparison, the 2025 WNBA Draft, headlined by Paige Bueckers as the No. 1 pick for the Dallas Wings, also achieved impressive viewership but fell short of Clark’s record. The event averaged 1.25 million viewers and peaked at 1.46 million, making it the second-most-watched draft in league history. While Bueckers’ stardom and the inclusion of international talents like Dominique Malonga brought significant attention, the numbers reflected a slight decline compared to the previous year.

Caitlin Clark is currently the league’s Rookie of The Year. During the 2024 season, she averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 8.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Her shooting percentages were 41.7% from the field, 34.4% from three-point range, and 90.6% from the free-throw line.
