Caitlin Clark’s week has been nothing short of heartwarming—both in her personal life and in the Indiana Fever locker room.
On Thursday, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year marked a special milestone, celebrating her second anniversary with longtime boyfriend Connor McCaffery. Known more for her no-nonsense playmaking than PDA, Clark kept it simple but meaningful with a post on Instagram, sharing a carousel of candid moments from their relationship.
“Another year with my favorite person 🙂 I’m so thankful for you 🖤🖤,” she captioned the post.

Clark and McCaffery, a fellow former Iowa Hawkeye, started dating during their college days but waited several months before making the relationship public. Since then, they’ve offered fans just enough glimpses to show how strong their bond is—without ever making it the main storyline.
This isn’t the first time Clark has gone online to show love for McCaffery. On their first anniversary, she posted:
“One year of the best mems w my fav person 🖤 you make everyday better and I can’t wait for many more adventures together… love you 🤞🏻😇.”

But Clark’s leadership and love weren’t limited to her own relationship this week.
Caitlin Clark spearheads engagement surprise for teammate Lexie Hull
Earlier, she played a major role in helping the Fever pull off a surprise locker room celebration for teammate Lexie Hull, who recently got engaged. In a clip posted by the team, Clark is seen taking charge of the moment, grabbing a “Bride” tiara and eagerly saying,
“I will put the tiara on her. Ok, when do we go?”

With a mix of energy and excitement, Clark stormed into the gym yelling Hull’s name, delivering the tiara and a gift bag, much to the delight of her teammate, who responded with a dance and a grin:
“That’s so cute, guys.”

From orchestrating plays to orchestrating surprises, Clark’s role with the Fever is already stretching beyond the stat sheet. In just her rookie year, she’s showing signs of being not just a franchise cornerstone, but a locker room glue player, too.
