Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was spotted at the Madison Square Garden, as the Butler Bulldogs take on the Providence Friars in the opening of the Big East Tournament.
Caitlin Clark was captured on camera inside the Madison Square Garden along with her brother, and her agent Erin Kane. The reigning WNBA Rookie of The Year was present at the game mainly due to her boyfriend Connor McCaffery, who works for the Bulldogs as an assistant coach.
Naturally, Clark got the best seats for her team as they were spotted in a video sitting near the courtside.

Butler secured a 75-69 victory over Providence in the Big East Tournament, marking their first win against the Friars at Madison Square Garden, and Providence getting booted out of the tournament.
“It played true to the pitiful, embarrassing season we’ve had,” Providence coach Kim English said. “That falls on me. The work to correct it begins, and we will.”

The Bulldogs were led by Pierre Brooks II, who scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Jahmyl Telfort also made significant contributions with 16 points and three steals. Patrick McCaffrey added seven points, including a crucial tip-off that extended Butler’s lead early in the second half.

The Bulldogs’ strong defensive performance forced Providence into 13 turnovers, which Butler capitalized on, scoring 13 points off those mistakes.
Caitlin Clark Gets Honest on NBA vs WNBA Comparison: “I Don’t Think It’s Fair”
Having the NBA and the WNBA compared is no longer a new thing. In fact, only recently, the discussion of WNBA players demanding more pay has been put back in the spotlight. In her recent appearance at the 2025 Cardiovascular Research Technologies event, Caitlin Clark was asked about her thoughts on the matter and as it turned out, she is not a big fan of the constant comparison.
“I’m not huge on comparing the WNBA to the NBA, I don’t think that’s fair,” Clark said. “I think where the WNBA is right now it’s pretty incredible. I think most people would not believe it’s in the place it is right now.”
“When people keep asking those questions of where I believe it’s going to be in five years, the answer is people didn’t even think we’d be right here right now and I think really the sky’s the limit.”

Right now, Caitlin Clark continues to spend her offseason between leisure like watching games, and working out and training for the upcoming WNBA season.
