Indiana Fever star and former college basketball superstar Caitlin Clark called out some toes recently, as she demonstrated her budding friendship with Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade Jones, to which the latter called “foul” to.
In an Instagram post by Jade Jones, where she posed with her boyfriend Haliburton, Clark called out the latter for exposing his toes.
“Damn Ty put those toes away,” Clark said in a comment. “Slay tho.”
The fun exchange did not stop there as Jones responded with: “Foul,” followed by a laughing emoji.
The fun dynamic and friendship between Clark and Haliburton are no longer new, as Tyrese is a known supported of Indiana’s women’s basketball team, the Fever, which Caitlin plays for. Clark was also spotted several times watching a Pacers game and supporting her friend.
Caitlin Clark on Leaving WNBA Rumors
Caitlin Clark, still hot from her college basketball days, was the first pick for the WNBA draft last season. As expected of her, the women’s basketball superstar delivered a stellar performance in her first year for the league, and even as early as now, rumors of her leaving the WNBA have circulated the rumor mill at least twice now.
Back in October, following the recent closure of the WNBA season, talks of Clark potentially quitting the Indiana fever and quitting the WNBA overall found itself in the rumor mill, all thanks to a YouTube video that suggested so.
However, this was quickly debunked and proven to be a clickbait as Clark’s “leaving the WNBA” was just her signing off for the offseason, just like everyone else.
A more recent version of this rumor came when news of Caitlin Clark quitting basketball was revived and this time, it was because of her moving on to professional golf. While she was indeed playing professional golf for an LGPA event, this would be nothing but an offseason activity for her, as she remains with the Indiana fever has not even hinted at a departure from either the fever or the WNBA entirely.
“I love golf so the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” Caitlin Clark said, talking about her love for golf. “I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika.”
