Caitlin Clark has always been a fan of Kobe Bryant’s signature shoe line and has publicly shown her love for the late basketball legend. In her recent appearance with Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce for their ‘New Heights’ podcast, Clark discussed her love for Kobe’s shoes, especially the 5 and 6.
Clark has always been seen wearing Kobe Bryant’s shoes in her games, more specifically the 6s. Her comments on the shoes, along with the rest of the podcast episode, drew immense attention, even from Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant.
“I play in only Kobes. I’m a big Kobe fan. … The five and the six. I like the six, probably better. But five and six, they’re low-tops.” Caitlin Clark said on the ‘New Heights’ podcast.

That Clark only preferred Kobe’s shoes on the court was highlighted and posted by the WNBA Instagram page of ESPN. Vanessa Bryant ‘liked’ the post, while others commented how much more they liked the fact that Clark continued to honor Kobe Bryant in her career.

Caitlin Clark’s Boyfriend Connor McCaffery In Trouble For Butler Bulldogs Underperforming
Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery has been heavily criticized for the Butler Bulldogs team’s terrible performance in recent games. McCaffery is currently working as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs, after his stint as an assistant coach with the Indiana Pacers in the NBA. However, his transition to a college basketball coach has not been going so great.
The Butler Bulldogs are currently placed last in the Big East with a 0-4 conference score and 7-8 overall. In their last game, the Bulldogs played against the St. John’s Red Storm and lost the game with a final score of 70-62. Against the Red Storm, Butler’s Pierre Brooks managed to chalk up 17 points in total, grabbing eight rebounds and assisting twice, while Patrick McCaffery, Connor McCaffery’s brother, put up 13 points for the team.
Coach McCaffery is not the only person who has been blamed for Butler’s terrible performance. Apparently, fans are also calling Caitlin Clark out for missing several Butler games. Clark, who has been dubbed a ‘lucky charm’ for the Butler Bulldogs, has not been seen in Bulldogs games recently. In fact, whenever Clark showed up for a game, the Butler Bulldogs have done well in that particular matchup. Hopefully, Caitlin Clark will show up to a Butler Bulldogs game soon and help them move up the ladder.
McCaffery himself comes from a basketball family, with his father Fran McCaffery still coaching the basketball team at the University of Iowa. Meanwhile, Patrick McCaffery, Connor’s younger brother, plays for the Butler Bulldogs.
