Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark got praise for a heartfelt and wholesome moment she shared with the children of Fever’s head coach, Stephanie White. The appreciation came from the associate head coach for Purdue University’s women’s basketball team, Kelly Komara.
During the recent game between the Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks, Caitlin Clark was shown on camera, as she was present at the game, even wearing a Pacers shirt. This moment was made even more heartfelt as Stephanie White’s children ran to Clark to wave to the camera alongside her.
The moment was posted on social media, particularly on X, and was shared by Purdue associate coach Kelly Komara, with a goofy comment of her own.
“This makes my 💛 happy!! My fav people. Well, minus you, Steph!,” Komara wrote on her post.
Kelly Komara and Stephanie White were key players for Purdue when they won the 1999 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship, the first national title in the program’s history.

The Indiana Pacers triumphed over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of their playoff series, with a decisive score of 117-982. The Pacers showcased their dominance, building a lead as large as 28 points during the game. Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam led the charge for Indiana, contributing significantly to the team’s victory.

Stephanie White Admires How Caitlin Clark Handles Fame
In an interview with The Athletic, Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White praised Caitlin Clark on how she handles the “circus” around her.
“I think first and foremost, she does an outstanding job of managing it all,” White said. “Like, she’s incredibly humble. She understands the big picture. So she views it understanding her celebrity, No. 1. But No. 2, she’s a Midwest kid, a Midwest person and she is who she is. She tries to live her life in an authentic way.”
“But she’s very much Taylor Swift 2.0.”
The Indiana Fever made significant offseason moves to strengthen their roster around Caitlin Clark for the 2025 WNBA season. They signed veteran stars like DeWanna Bonner, a six-time All-Star and two-time WNBA champion, and Natasha Howard, a three-time WNBA champion and former Defensive Player of the Year.

Additionally, they acquired Sophie Cunningham, known for her scoring versatility, and Sydney Colson, a seasoned guard with championship experience.

These additions bring leadership, defensive prowess, and offensive firepower to complement Caitlin Clark and other star players like Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
