Caitlin Clark revealed her favorite NFL player in her latest appearance on ‘The Eli Manning Show’, and it was none other than Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback. While Mahomes was revealed to be her favorite current football player, Clark also named Peyton Manning as her favorite retired NFL player, which definitely irked his brother, Eli Manning.
In the episode, Clark was asked several personal questions, over a round of mini-golf. She also played a round of ‘This or That’ sports movies, in which she stated that ‘Like Mike’ was indeed her favorite basketball movie.
“Former, I’m going Peyton. I actually had a Peyton Manning jersey growing up… Not to make you mad, Eli, but I’m going Peyton. Current, I’m going Patrick Mahomes. You know I’m a big Chiefs fan, so,” Caitlin Clark said on ‘The Eli Manning Show’.

Caitlin Clark has definitely shown her love for the Kansas City Chiefs, especially during the previous NFL season. However, despite her strong support for the Chiefs, the team lost in the finale against the Philadelphia Eagles who won the Super Bowl. Most particularly, Clark fans were delighted to see her emerging friendship with pop-singer Taylor Swift, who is currently in a relationship with Kansas City tight-end, Travis Kelce.
Caitlin Clark Compared With JuJu Watkins After USC Vs. Indiana Performance
Caitlin Clark seems to have become the benchmark against which all female basketball players are being compared to. Recently, Clark was compared with USC Trojans’ star JuJu Watkins, who delivered an outstanding performance against the Indiana Hoosiers in the Big Ten Tournament.
In the game against the Indiana Hoosiers, the USC Trojans managed to win with a final score of 84-79. Against the Hoosiers, JuJu Watkins put up an impressive 31 points, grabbing ten rebounds and assisting twice, while Kiki Iriafen added another 21 points for the team, with ten boards and three helpers. Avery Howell added another ten points for USC in the winning effort.
The game against the Indiana Hoosiers became JuJu Watkins’ 70th 30-point game of the season, and fans were quickly ready on social media to draw comparisons between Watkins and Clark. One X user ‘the_final_democrat_boss’ even went on to remark that ‘Juju is 100x better than Caitlin Clark’.
Still, many others dropped comments and tweets that Watkins is proving to be way better than Paige Bueckers, with some mentioning that the USC Trojans’ star is playing just like the late Kobe Bryant and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
