When asked what she plans to do with the acquired skill, she already had one thing in mind.
“Shoot a half-court shot,” she answered.
Caitlin Clark’s shooting abilities have been a defining feature of her basketball career, from her days at Iowa to her rookie season in the WNBA.
At Iowa, Clark was renowned for her deep shooting range and ability to score under pressure. She led the NCAA in scoring during the 2023 season, averaging an impressive 27.8 points per game. Her three-point shooting was particularly remarkable, as she made 118 three-pointers that season, showcasing her accuracy and confidence from beyond the arc.

Transitioning to the WNBA, Clark continued to demonstrate her exceptional shooting skills. In her rookie season with the Indiana Fever, she averaged 19.2 points per game and maintained a solid three-point shooting percentage of 34.4%.

Caitlin Clark’s exceptional shooting skills were evident in her impressive 90.6% free throw percentage, which was one of the league’s best. Her outstanding performance during the 2024 season led to her being honored as the Rookie of the Year and selected for the All-WNBA team.
Caitlin Clark Expresses Love for Prestigious Golf Event
In a recent interview, Caitlin Clark shared her feelings on the non-basketball sports event that is on the top of her list: the Masters Tournament.
“I honestly would probably put it [the Master’s tournament] number one, and I think it’s just so different than everything else,” Clark said. “There’s really just nothing like this, and I think, honestly, the aspect of like not having your phone is so unique.”
“Like, you can tell everybody is so invested, and they’re really just there to watch the greatness of the athletes. And even the golfers talking about it after their rounds, like they feel a different level of engagement from the fans too and how invested they are.”

Caitlin Clark has explored golf in the past, including a stint at the RSM Classic Pro-Am late in 2024.
