Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is someone who “doesn’t waste time” in training and practice, as attested to by Fever’s head coach Stephanie White.
In a recent press interview, Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White praised Caitlin Clark for her dedication and overall mentality regarding training and practice. In particular, she talked about Clark’s ethics and work style that stand out.
“We talk about work ethic a lot, but work style is another thing,” White said. “She doesn’t waste reps. She literally does embody the, ‘How you do anything is how you do everything.’ She approaches it with such a discipline.”
In her appearance at “The Bird and Taurasi Show,” which also included a live commentary on the NCAA women’s basketball finals, Caitlin Clark talked about her challenge with technical fouls, and how she intends to work on it for the 2025 season.

“Under,” she said when asked if she would get over 4.5 technical fouls next season. “I already told Steph [White] two, max.”
“I was close to getting suspended for our last game, and obviously, every front office tries to get your technicals taken away, and they wouldn’t take any of mine away.”
“I got two for slapping the stanchion of the hoop, and I got another one for accidentally hitting someone in the eye. So half of them weren’t even me getting to talk to the refs, which was dumb.”
Stephanie White and Caitlin Clark are focused on refining the Indiana Fever’s offensive strategy to improve their playoff performance and push for a WNBA championship in 2025. With the addition of veteran players like DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard, the Fever are building a balanced roster that complements Clark’s playmaking ability, setting the stage for a stronger playoff push.
